DEAR SENIOR

I haven’t really known what to post during these confusing and uncertain times. But I do want to take a minute to reach out to all the seniors out there and say how sorry I am. I’m sorry for everything you were looking forward to and everything you are missing. Proms, sports and activities, time hanging out with friends, senior skip day, end of the year projects, graduation parties and ceremonies…. they all add up to what makes memories of your high school years, and particularly your senior year, so special. They all have been taken away from you. I won’t tell you to look on the bright side. I won’t tell you that other generations may have had it harder. I will just say I’m sorry.

Today I’m sharing a blog post in honor of my beautiful niece Delaney who is a senior at Buffalo High School this year. We are all thinking of you and wish it didn’t have to be this way. Sending big (socially distant) hugs!
