SOME NEWS

Happy new year friends! I’ve got such a fun blog post for you today, plus some business updates to share with you. As I’m sure many of you have guessed, I am on the (long-ish) road to retirement. I have cut back on the number of sessions I do over the past couple of years and this year will see even more of that. We will call this year my “semi-retirement” year. In preparation for that, I have made the decision to transfer over my studio lease in downtown Fargo to one of the photographers I’ve had renting from me over the last year. Her name is Elisabeth Eden Photography and she has some FABULOUS ideas to breathe new life into this space. It has been so fun to see the studio I’ve loved for so many years through her eyes and watch her market it with new energy and ideas. Not to worry, I’ll still have use of the studio and will still be doing a limited number of sessions there for my clients. You will see me cutting back quite a bit on outdoor summer sessions for families and seniors and I’ll no longer be taking new clients. I have incredible colleagues to whom I’ll be able to refer any clients I’m unable to accommodate. With more free time, I’ll be doing a little book work for my husband’s business, renovation our new lake home, and just overall slowing down to enjoy warm summer nights.

Now on to the fun stuff… this fresh little baby! She was the sleepiest and scrunchiest I’ve had in a long while which made her session a breeze and so much fun. Enjoy!
